Founded in January 2022, Ramsey Legacy Woodworking is a husband & wife team dedicated to the art and craft of fine carpentry. Specializing in generational furniture, live-edge charcuterie boards, & custom wood pieces, we approach every project as a unique opportunity to apply classic woodworking techniques to modern aesthetics.

Working with hand tools is a blast. To feel the control of slowly shaping a piece of wood to your needs is an experience you don’t get with power tools. In this video I take the octagon legs and make them TAPERED octagons. Giving them a nice look as they will draw the eyes down once on the chair. I then show you how I make the tapered tenons for the legs.
